Drone video production

We are Shropshire’s leading drone videography and aerial photography company, experts in producing high resolution aerial footage for customers in the West Midlands and across the UK.

We are insured and certified to operate a drone safely, and just as importantly, have the camera skills and experience to know what shots to look for to help take an audience’s breath away.

Aerial drone video

We’ve used drones at sports events, corporate events, for site surveys and Inspections as well as construction, property and development. We’ve also captured breathtaking footage of different locations around the country and at tourism hotspots.

Aerial drone video produces  compelling imagery to engage and inspire your audience. The sky really is the limit for ways you can use drones to showcase your project.

Hi guys, Pete from 7video. I’d like to talk to you about drones.

Drones are a really great way of capturing the best footage that you simply can’t get from the  ground like this:

It can be the eye in the sky that gives you that comprehensive scaled overview of a project that you’re working on, at the highest quality.

We love what we do with drones at 7video, and being CAA certified and fully insured, it’s allowed us to go to places we never would have dreamt of.

If you are thinking of using drones or capturing footage from the air, get in touch with us and we’d love to have a chat.

Frequently asked questions

This depends on the nature of your project. It can be included in the cost if it is part of your brief or it can mean paying an additional fee. Please contact the team to discuss your project so we can determine the cost.

Absolutely yes. All our drone pilots are fully licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and qualified. We also have all the necessary insurance in place.

We are only able to fly up to 400ft, after this we will be breaking aviation rules.

We do not fly in high winds and rain. We can fly in winds gusting up to 22mph. Our advanced camera gimbal system gives very smooth shots.

Our drones are capable of flying in light rain but rainwater on the camera lenses can spoil any shots.

Yes we can and the results can be spectacular.

The maximum flight time on a single battery in normal conditions is up to 30 minutes. On average we fly up to 22 minutes before landing and changing the battery. We carry spare pre-charged batteries on each shoot. It only takes a few minutes to change the battery and get back in air. So we are able to fly for long periods with very little disruption.

Yes,  we can fly indoors but we need space. We have flown in warehouses, studios and some tighter places.

Most of the time there are no issues with flying indoors but safety is our number one priority. Only a short test flight can give us the final answer.

We usually say up to two weeks after the filming takes place, but this can vary depending on the nature of your project. All timescales will be agreed when we plan your project with you.
