Like the vast majority of companies we were hit hard by Coronavirus, with the vast majority of bookings wiped out overnight when lockdown was announced.

It was deeply upsetting to see our business that had grown for the last 12 years suddenly ground to a halt with anxieties about the future hanging over the team’s head.

One shining light has been the increase in demand for animation work from those wanting to get messages out in a quick and engaging way as well as using it to adapt their own offer to customers.

Despite this interest, there was a marked and understandable drop off in our other services – film, drone and timelapse.

But now that lockdown is easing, I’m delighted to say that we are fully open for business with the government saying they are happy for media production companies to work again, providing they are following appropriate advice.

Of course, We’re taking all the necessary measures to keep customers and ourselves safe during this time. This is what we will be doing:

  • We will work with customers to meticulously plan and carry out a risk assessment to ensure we thoroughly understand the area and circumstances of a shoot, implementing any safety measures required.
  • We will keep two metres away from everyone at all times.
  • We will wear face masks and any other personal protection equipment (PPE), if required
  • We will carry and regularly use hand sanitiser.
  • We will frequently clean/sanitise our equipment.
  • We will remain alert on the day and continually communicate with everyone on the shoot, so that we can easily and safely react to any unforeseen circumstances on the day.
  • We are always happy to discuss any questions or concerns customers have before filming so they feel assured about the day.
  • We will always keep up-to-date with the latest Government and health advice to ensure that we are strictly following guidelines to keep us all safe.

Times are still uncertain and we’re aware things could change either way so we will remain flexible at all times. We hope that things continue to improve and we hope to see you all very soon!
